Job summary

Quay View School in Bere Alston is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy team, supporting pupils aged 7–19 with autism and SEMH needs within a multidisciplinary setting.

You must be HCPC registered with a BSc Occupational Therapy or equivalent, and have experience with complex needs and sensory processing. You will assess, deliver and review therapy, and share best practices with colleagues.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered with a BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• Experience with children/young people with complex needs.
• Knowledge of Sensory Processing Disorders and sensory integration theory.
• Ability to deliver therapy and share best practices with the team.
• Proactive in delivering onsite training to colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assess, deliver and review therapeutic provision for pupils.
• Disseminate best practices to the wider support team.
• Provide on-site profession-specific training to colleagues when required.
