Job summary

Priory Hospital East Midlands is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the Acute and PICU ward. The role is part-time (30 hours) with a salary of £24,999 - £30,432 depending on experience.

You will assess patients, develop and deliver tailored treatment plans, and support dignity and high standards of care. HCPC registration and relevant OT degree are required, with a minimum 3 years' experience including 1 year in addictions or neuro-rehab.

Priory Hospital East Midlands are recruiting an Occupational Therapist on our Acute and PICU ward. £24,999 - £30,432 Depending on Experience Part Time - 30 Hours

Priory Hospital East Midlands, located between Nottingham and Mansfield, is a specialist acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) service for adult females. It is accessible by public transport, with a local train station nearby and a bus stop just outside the hospital providing links to Annesley, Hucknall and Kirkby-in-Ashfield.

What you'll be doing

You will join the team on the Acute and PICU ward. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.

• Manages and co-ordinates the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services ensuring treatments, activities and interventions are delivered through effective application and communication.
• Receives and responds promptly to referrals undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual or group basis. Maintains accurate and timely records detailing each patient's rehabilitation / progress.
• Ensures the effective and efficient management of more junior staff.

What you'll bring to the role

Candidates must be HCPC registered and hold a Diploma in Occupational Therapy or holds a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy together with full BAOT membership.

The role holder will require at least 3 years' experience including at least 1 year experience of working within the specialised area i.e. addictions, neuro-rehab or eating disorders.
