Pay rate: £32 per hour

Are you an Occupational Therapist? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Disability Service. We are looking for experienced and passionate Occupational Therapists to join a dedicated Disability Service based in Greater Manchester. Are you interested in joining a highly professional team committed to continuous service improvement, results, and quality?

The ideal candidate will have:
  • A Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, with two years post-registration experience and current registration;
  • The ability to produce clear and concise written reports;
  • Strong team working skills, including experience working in a multi-disciplinary team and liaising with relevant bodies;
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to disability;
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: major adaptations, moving and handling, or paediatric equipment/children with complex needs;
  • Extensive experience visiting disabled and/or older people in their homes;
  • A good understanding of the service's aims in meeting the needs of older and disabled people;
  • Excellent communication skills with a wide range of individuals;
  • A full driving license and access to a car (essential car user allowance payable).
