Job Description:

As such, Direct Medics are working in partnership with an NHS Trust to find an experienced and dedicated Dysphagia Trained Speech & Language Therapistwho will be based in the Preston area, providing a comprehensive specialist Community Neurological Rehab service.

Locum roles with Direct Medics are a great way of enhancing your earning potential as well as working with some of the most professional and successful Speech & Language Therapyteams in the country. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Dysphagia Trained Speech & Language Therapist to provide assessment, treatment and management to clients following a stroke within a new early intervention service pathway and routine, slower stream rehabilitation pathways and to those clients following an acquired brain injury.

This role ideally requiresfull time hours (Mon- Fri 8.30/9:00 until 4.30/5pm) and will be for a 3 month duration initially.

Requirements:

• HCPC registered Speech & Language Therapist with relevant Dysphagia Competencies
• Essential qualified UK experience with Adult Neuro Conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full UK Drivers License and access to a car
• Right to live and work in the UK/Ireland
