Aberbeeg Hospital in Abertillery is seeking a recently qualified Occupational Therapist to start a rewarding career with strong support and supervision. You'll carry out comprehensive OT assessments and, under supervision, plan and review treatment programmes for service users.

As An Occupational Therapist You Will Be

Aberbeeg Hospital is Nestled in 11.5 acres of the stunning Welsh countryside in Caerphilly and provides a safe and supportive environment for men requiring low and medium secure mental health services. Our dedicated Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) places least restrictive practice at the heart of every personalised care plan.

Aberbeeg uses a twelve-week therapeutic planning model alongside the “Safewards” model of care. This means that service users have a therapeutic timetable devised collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team using meaningful and smart goals for a twelve-week period. Following this, the timetable is reviewed and changed to reflect the development and achievements made.
