Elysium Healthcare seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to join Aberbeeg Hospital. You will work within a specialist mental health environment, delivering evidence-based OT programmes to support women with complex needs, while pursuing ongoing professional development.

You will be working at a low secure service for men which aims to make sure that each service user receives an individualised formulation of needs, to ensure that the care and treatment delivered is appropriate.
The service is located within the boundaries of the county borough of Blaenau Gwent, set in 11.5 acres of land with beautiful views of the Welsh countryside.
The service uses a twelve week therapeutic planning model alongside the "Safewards" model of care. This means that service users have a therapeutic timetable devised collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team using meaningful and smart goals for a twelve week period. Following this, the timetable is reviewed and changed to reflect the development and achievements made.
