This is a great opportunity to join our dedicated QSSHE team at Perenco, where you will be responsible for delivering the Occupational Hygiene program.
The primary focus of this position is the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of workplace health risks across Perenco UK operations in the Southern North Sea. A key component of this role involves continual improvement and standardisation of monitoring, auditing, and reporting systems. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with statutory provisions, codes of practice, industry guidelines, and promoting a positive approach to workplace health risks.
This position is based in our Norwich office, working Monday to Friday, with some travel to offshore and onshore sites as required.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Recommend and design control strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate control strategies (e.g., LEV/PPE/RPE testing & inspection).
• Deliver occupational hygiene training (e.g., asbestos awareness, dust procedures, PPE/RPE use and maintenance).
• Conduct assurance processes (inspections and audits) covering all operational sites, including onshore support centers and NUIs, ensuring compliance with occupational health and hygiene standards, including accommodation, welfare, and food areas.
• Maintain calibration systems for occupational hygiene equipment.
