This is a great opportunity to join our dedicated QSSHE team at Perenco, where you will be responsible for delivering the Occupational Hygiene program.
The primary focus of this position is the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of workplace health risks across Perenco UK operations in the Southern North Sea. Continual improvement and standardisation of monitoring, auditing, and reporting systems are core components of this role. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with statutory provisions, codes of practice, industry guidelines, and promoting a positive approach to workplace health risks.
This position is based in our Norwich office, working Monday to Friday, with some travel to offshore and onshore sites as required.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Recommend and design control strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate control measures such as LEV, PPE, RPE testing and inspections.
• Deliver occupational hygiene training, including asbestos awareness, dust procedures, PPE/RPE use and maintenance.
• Conduct inspections and audits across operational sites, including support centers and NUIs, covering occupational health and hygiene standards, including accommodation and welfare areas.
• Maintain calibration systems for hygiene equipment.
