This is a great opportunity to join our dedicated QSSHE team at Perenco, where you will be responsible for delivering the Occupational Hygiene program.
The primary focus of this position is the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of workplace health risks across Perenco UK operations in the Southern North Sea. A key part of the role involves continual improvement and standardisation of monitoring, auditing, and reporting systems. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with statutory provisions, codes of practice, industry guidelines, and promoting a positive approach to workplace health risks.
This position will be based in our Norwich office, working Monday to Friday, with some travel to offshore and onshore sites as required.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Recommend and design control strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate control measures such as LEV, PPE, and RPE testing and inspections.
• Deliver occupational hygiene training programs, including asbestos awareness, dust procedures, and PPE/RPE use.
• Ensure audits and inspections cover all operational sites, including support centers and NUIs, ensuring standards are met across all areas including accommodation and welfare facilities.
• Maintain calibration systems for occupational hygiene equipment.
