Job summary

Purosearch Ltd is seeking a Remote Occupational Health Advisor to join a fully remote team on a part-time basis (22.5 hours per week). The role offers a permanent contract with a pro-rated salary of £40,000–£45,000.

You will deliver high-quality Occupational Health services across clients in the commercial sector, working independently with remote clinical and operational support. Flexible hours Monday–Friday, with home-based working.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse (NMC Level 1) required.
• Full Occupational Health qualification (Certificate, Diploma or Degree) from a recognised provider.
• Commercial Occupational Health experience with minimum 2 years post-qualification.
• Able to work autonomously and manage workload.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage up to 5 cases per day.
• Conduct new starter clearances and screenings.
• Provide health and wellbeing programmes.
• Produce clear, robust management reports.
• Maintain confidential OH records and liaise with clients/HR.
• Work independently with remote clinical/operational support.
• Uphold professional standards per OH best practice.

Remote Occupational Health Advisor

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor (OHA) to join a team in a fully remote, home-based role.

You will provide high-quality Occupational Health services to clients across the commercial sector, working independently while having access to remote clinical and operational support.

The role is ideally suited to an experienced OHA who enjoys working autonomously and delivering professional, evidence-based advice in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will provide a range of Occupational Health services, including:

• Management referrals – up to a maximum of 5 cases per day
• New starter clearances/screening
• Health and wellbeing support and programmes
• Conducting assessments and producing clear, robust management reports
• Maintaining accurate and confidential Occupational Health records
• Working collaboratively with clients, HR and other stakeholders
• Managing your own workload and priorities effectively
• Maintaining professional standards in line with NMC requirements and Occupational Health best practice
• Contributing to service improvement and operational initiatives

Essential requirements:

• Registered General Nurse (Level 1)
• Full Occupational Health qualification from a recognised provider at Certificate, Diploma or Degree level
• Commercial Occupational Health experience, ideally with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience
• Ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload
• Competent with Microsoft Office/basic IT systems
• Flexible, enthusiastic and able to demonstrate a positive, can-do approach
