We are looking for an Obsolescence Engineer to support the management of component and equipment obsolescence across complex engineering programmes. You’ll be responsible for identifying obsolete or at-risk parts, assessing the impact on the programme, and developing robust technical solutions to ensure continued product support and compliance.
Working closely with engineering, supply chain, and customer stakeholders, you’ll investigate obsolescence issues, assess technical risk and produce evidence-based recommendations in accordance with recognised industry standards.

The successful candidate will investigate engineering change requests relating to obsolete components, determine the impact on programme delivery and supportability, and develop technically robust solutions supported by clear engineering evidence. You’ll work within a structured obsolescence management framework, ensuring investigations are completed within agreed KPIs while supporting long-term availability and maintainability of the product throughout its operational life.
