Computacenter is hiring a Monitoring & Observability Engineer (Splunk) to deliver enterprise observability solutions across major customers in the UK. You will design, implement and manage monitoring stacks, driving visibility and reliability across complex IT estates.

Join a global team within GPS who work on infrastructure, cloud and modern operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to proactive incident prevention and performance improvements.

Competenze

• Strong experience deploying and managing observability platforms including Dynatrace, Grafana, and/or Splunk.
• Telemetry signal analysis and perf monitoring expertise.
• Experience integrating observability tools with ITSM platforms and DevOps toolchains.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues using monitoring insights.
• Scripting with Python/PowerShell for automation.

Mansioni

• Design, implement, and manage observability solutions with Dynatrace, Grafana and Splunk.
• Collect and analyse telemetry data (metrics, logs, traces, events) to diagnose performance issues.
• Integrate monitoring platforms with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow) and CI/CD pipelines for proactive alerting.
• Act as Monitoring & Observability SME within customer delivery teams.
• Support incident response activities and postmortems by identifying patterns and root causes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define best practices in observability.
