Axia Women's Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for our Somerset OB/GYN practice in Bridgewater & Hillsborough, NJ. This on-site role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care, recording critical information, and supporting physicians and nurses.

The CMA will greet patients, prepare them for exams, document vital signs, assist with procedures, and manage patient records. Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR and OB/GYN settings is preferred; CPR may be required for surgical

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current national certification as CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA required.
• CPR certification required if performing office-based surgeries.
• OB/GYN or Women’s Health experience preferred.
• eClinicalWorks EMR experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Greet and assist patients professionally and escort to exam rooms.
• Prepare patients for examinations and complete comprehensive clinical intake.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Perform vital signs: blood pressure, height, weight, and temperature.
• Assist with examinations and office-based procedures.
• Administer medications and injections as ordered by providers.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens; perform CLIA waived tests.
• Enter orders using computerized physician order entry (CPOE).
• Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked; sterilize instruments.
• Provide patient education on procedures, medications, and follow-up care.
• Assist with scheduling appointments and follow-up visits.
• Support office-based surgical procedures after competency training.
