STEPS Rehabilitation Ltd. seeks a warm, client-focused host to support nutrition and hydration needs, ensuring menus reach clients and orders are relayed to the kitchen. The role prioritises excellent service and client well-being in a healthcare setting.

Core hours are 7am–7pm with some weekends; you will work with the kitchen and clinical teams to meet dietary needs and deliver meals to rooms when required.

Qualifications

• Maths & English GCSE Grade C or equivalent.
• Level I Health and Safety Food Hygiene certificate or equivalent level of qualification.
• Experience Customer service.
• Experience of working in healthcare.
• Personal Attributes Creative and innovative approach, inclusive and engaging approach to client care.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Excellent communicator both written and verbal / demonstrate excellent listening skills.
• Able to form key working relationships with colleagues, understand the dynamics of interdisciplinary working.

Responsabilités

• To have exceptional customer service skills.
• To have a good understanding of the importance of good nutrition.
• To make sure all clients receive daily menus, take client orders and relay them to the kitchen team.
• Prepare hot and cold drinks for the clients as required.
• To make sure all client meals are received by the client and delivered to their rooms if required.
• Clear down upstairs kitchen areas, wash up dirty dishes, load and unload the dishwashers, and ensure that the kitchen is fully stocked with tea, coffee, washing up liquid, crockery and cutlery etc.
• Liaise with the clinical team to ensure clients' needs are met in a timely manner.
• Offer a great customer service by always putting the client first.
• Liaise with client, chef and clinical team re dietary requirements.
• To be able to assist in preparing clients for their meals.
