Job summary

Perth and Kinross Council is seeking an enthusiastic Enhanced Pupil Support Assistant to join Tulloch Primary School in Perth. This fixed-term post runs until 31 March 2027, offering 27.5 hours per week during term-time and supporting learners with additional needs within the Intensive Support Provision.

You will collaborate with ISP staff to deliver tailored learning programmes, ensuring pupil wellbeing and safety, including supervision at breaks and lunchtimes, with opportunities to work

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with additional support needs (paid or voluntary).
• Interest in developing in an educational environment.
• Empathy, patience and positive engagement with children are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of tailored learning programmes for pupils with complex needs.
• Assist in class to ensure care, wellbeing, health and safety of pupils.
• Support pupils at break and lunchtimes and during community activities where appropriate.
