Job summary

Perth & Kinross Council is seeking a compassionate Primary School Support Worker for Balbeggie Primary School, Perth. Qualifications

• Experience, paid or voluntary, with children and young people with additional support needs (ASN).
• Strong communication and listening skills, with a caring, patient and proactive approach.
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a one-to-one basis, in small groups and within the classroom.
• Assist with positive behaviour approaches.
• Support pupils during transitions, break times and school activities.
• Provide support with intimate care routines where required.
• Use ICT to enhance learning experiences.
• Contribute to personal learning plans and inclusive practice.
