Job summary

Perth & Kinross Council in Perth is seeking an enthusiastic Enhanced Pupil Support Assistant to join Oakbank Primary School on a fixed-term contract until 31 December 2026. The role supports learners in the Intensive Support Provision and works with teaching staff to meet diverse learning needs.

You will help at break times, promote active play and wellbeing, and contribute to a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with learners with complex additional support needs.
• Able to support learners during break and lunchtimes and promote wellbeing.
• Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding responsibilities.
• Ability to work well in a team and use own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Support learners in Intensive Support Provision and alongside teaching staff.
• Assist with break-time supervision and promote active play.
• Contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils to reach their full potential within term-time only schedule.
