Happy Days Nurseries in Truro is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to support children's growth and learning at our Playbox - Truro nursery. You will provide high-quality education in a safe, secure environment and work as part of a dedicated team.

You'll implement the EYFS framework, design engaging activities, build strong relationships with families, and uphold safeguarding standards. We welcome candidates qualified to Level 2 who are reflective, collaborative, and committed to professional

Qualifications

• Have experience with child development and learning and are committed to children’s emotional and intellectual growth
• Communicate confidently, professionally and work collaboratively
• Work in a way that is inclusive and creates a supportive, respectful environment

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional early years education, supporting each child’s development and learning journey.
• Implement EYFS framework to ensure high-quality teaching and care.
• Meet the daily needs of every child with compassion, attentiveness, and professionalism.
• Design and deliver stimulating activities that enrich learning and promote holistic development.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues, parents and carers through open communication.
• Uphold safeguarding, health and safety standards in every interaction and environment.
• Actively contribute to team meetings, sharing ideas to positively shape the future of the children in our care.
