Job summary

St John’s is a large, successful primary academy in Essington seeking an Early Years Learning Support Assistant with 1:1 SEN support. The role is permanent, 32.5 hours per week, term-time only with potential for reduced hours and training days.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and hard-working Learning Support Assistant (LSA) with a passion for supporting children's learning in school.
• Experience of and a passion for supporting children with additional needs is desirable.
• Hold the relevant qualifications as outlined in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Support children with learning in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
• Build consistent, trusting relationships with the child(ren) to support progression.
• Work alongside teachers and practitioners to deliver an appropriate curriculum.
• Contribute to children’s social and academic development.
