Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Nurture Teacher to support pupils with SEND, including autism, SEMH, and ADHD. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons in a safe, nurturing environment to promote social, emotional, and academic development.

The role involves collaborating with teaching assistants, therapists, and leaders; building strong relationships with pupils and families; and applying nurture principles and behavioural strategies throughout the day to help vulnerable

Qualifications

• Experience with SEND, Alternative Provision, specialist settings, or mainstream education with additional needs.
• Demonstrates nurturing and trauma-informed teaching approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and families.
• Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.

We are currently working with a highly supportive SEND school seeking a dedicated Nurture Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support pupils who require a personalised approach to learning, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and academically within a safe and nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in creating positive learning experiences for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs.

• Has strong classroom management and behaviour support skills.
• Is patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting vulnerable learners.
