A leading educational staffing agency is seeking a Nurture Teacher for a full-time role in Blackpool. Nurture Teacher - Alternative Provision - Blackpool
Location: Blackpool
Start Date: ASAP or October 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time (Temp-to-Perm opportunities available)
Salary: £150 - £240 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role

As a Nurture Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver a personalised curriculum to students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs or those at risk of exclusion.
  • Work closely with a small group of pupils, building trust and strong relationships.
  • Use creative and restorative approaches to re-engage learners and support their emotional wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of support staff, therapists, and external agencies.
Ideal Candidate
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is preferred but strong instructors or FE-qualified teachers will be considered.
  • Experience working with pupils in Alternative Provision, PRUs, or with SEMH/behavioural needs.
  • A calm, nurturing, and patient approach to behaviour management.
  • Ability to adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and making a positive impact.
  • Opportunities to transition into permanent roles.
