Job summary

Leaders in Care is assisting a Good-rated 50-bed nursing home in Rothwell, south Leeds, to recruit an experienced Nursing Home Manager / Registered Home Manager. You will provide visible leadership across nursing, care and support teams, guiding clinical governance and service improvement.

The role carries a £70,000 base salary per annum plus a performance-related bonus, with a supportive deputy manager, low staff turnover and an ambition to progress from Good to Outstanding.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Proven track record as Nursing Home Manager or Care Home Manager.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding.
• Evidence of achieving Good or Outstanding care standards.
• Experience leading teams and driving quality improvements.
• Visible, approachable leadership style with resident focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, compassionate and person-centred nursing and dementia care.
• Develop evidence-led improvements towards Outstanding from Good.
• Maintain robust clinical governance including audits, safeguarding, medication management and incident learning.
• Collaborate with the Deputy Manager to sustain high standards and develop nursing practice.
• Support, retain and develop the team through clear expectations, coaching and accountability.
• Build trusted relationships with residents, relatives, commissioners and healthcare professionals.
• Manage staffing, budgets and resources responsibly.
• Support occupancy through strong local relationships and a positive reputation for care.
