Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is seeking an experienced Nursing Home Manager to take the lead at a new nursing home in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. The role offers autonomy to shape the home from its outset and to recruit and build a high-performing team while ensuring high-quality, person-centred care.

You will drive compliance with CQC standards and lead a welcoming, community-focused service under the guidance of an established care provider.

Qualifications

• Qualified RGN or RMN with a valid NMC registration.
• Experience as a Home Manager, Registered Manager or Nursing Home Manager.

Responsibilities

• Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the nursing home.
• Leading the home through its opening and development.
• Recruiting, building and developing a high-performing care and nursing team.
• Creating a positive culture focused on high-quality, person-centred care.
• Ensuring the home operates in line with CQC regulations and required quality standards.
• Providing strong leadership and support to nurses, carers and the wider management team.
• Maintaining governance, auditing and quality assurance processes.
• Ensuring residents receive safe, effective and compassionate care.
• Developing relationships with residents, families and external professionals.
