Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Commissioning Home Manager to lead the launch of a multi-million pound new build, delivering outstanding person-centred care for residents. You will recruit and develop a brand-new team, collaborate with the projects team and community partners, and drive occupancy as the home opens.

You will bring inspirational leadership, a proven track record of delivering high-quality care, strong safeguarding and CQC knowledge, and the ability to establish the foundations

Qualifications

• Experience of managing/opening a new build.
• Community engagement and marketing a home to drive occupancy.
• Experience of managing a luxury care home with high % of privately funded residents.
• Inspirational leadership skills and a passion for person centred care.
• Proven track record of developing and motivating teams to deliver outstanding care.
• Excellent organisational and management skills.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, CQC and compliance guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Drive recruitment for the new home and build a brand-new team.
• Collaborate with the projects and support services to introduce the home to the community.
• Lead the home through its initial inspection achieving Good or Outstanding ratings.
