Search is recruiting for an experienced Nursing Home Manager to take the lead at a new nursing home in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. You will oversee the opening and development of the home and establish its culture and standards.

You will hold RGN or RMN qualifications with NMC registration, proven leadership, and a strong grasp of CQC regulations, quality standards, and the commercial aspects of running a care home.

Qualifikationen

• Be a qualified RGN or RMN with a valid NMC registration.
• Have previous experience as a Home Manager, Registered Manager or Nursing Home Manager.
• Strong experience within a nursing home environment.
• Understand CQC regulations and quality standards.
• Be confident recruiting and developing a strong team.
• Have excellent leadership and people-management skills.
• Understand operational and commercial requirements of running a care home.
• Be able to build positive relationships with residents and professionals.
• Passionate about delivering high standards of care.
• Willing to take ownership in a senior leadership role.

Aufgaben

• Take overall responsibility for day-to-day management of the nursing home.
• Lead the home through its opening and development.
• Recruit, build and develop a high-performing care and nursing team.
• Create a positive culture focused on high-quality, person-centred care.
• Ensure the home operates in line with CQC regulations and quality standards.
• Provide strong leadership to nurses, carers and management.
• Maintain governance, auditing and quality assurance processes.
• Ensure residents receive safe, effective and compassionate care.
• Develop relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external stakeholders.
• Manage staffing levels and resources to support occupancy and performance.
• Support occupancy growth and commercial performance.
• Manage budgets and control operational costs.
• Ensure policies and regulatory requirements are followed.
• Create an environment where employees are supported and engaged.
• Take ownership of the overall performance and reputation.
