We are workingwith one of the fastest growing and best performing healthcareproviders in the UK to recruit a Nursing Home Manager for theirchallenging behaviours facility in Sheffield. The home is very wellstaffed, with units each having a nurse, unit manager and team ofHCA's, they also have a clinical deputy to help you focus onmanaging the service.
This role will require you to haveextensive knowledge of working with mental health/challengingbehaviours nursing and recent experience of managing a service.
The company are extremely supportive and have an excellentstructure to help you perform to the best of your ability. They alsohave large resources to help implement your ideas. This is a fantasticopportunity for an experienced Registered Manager!
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and leada team of care staff, ensuring the delivery of exceptional careservices
- Manage the day-to-day running of the nursing home,maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
-Coordinate and oversee activities that promote the well-being ofresidents
- Provide support and guidance to staff in deliveringperson-centred care
- Monitor and manage residents' healthneeds, including medication administration
- Implement dementiacare best practices to support residents with memory loss
-Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and health and safetyguidelines
Skills:
-Proven experience in a nursing home management
- Strongleadership abilities with excellent supervisory skills
-Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks effectively
-Knowledge of mental health care practices and medicationadministration
- Excellent communication skills to interactwith residents, families, and staff members
