The current manager is moving on after a long and genuinely successful tenure, in a planned, unhurried succession. Nothing here needs rescuing. What it needs is the right person to carry very good work forward and keep it there.

Here's the part that matters. You'll inherit an established team, an experienced deputy and a clinical lead already in place, so you'll be leading rather than plugging gaps. The admin and finance side is handled at group level, which means your energy goes where it should: on care, on your people, and on standards. And you'll have real autonomy. This is a home to run as your own, with support above you when you want it and nobody peering over your shoulder when you don't. It's a group that promotes from within, invests in its homes and backs its managers to lead. The salary reflects all of that: up to £70,000 for the right person with the right track record.

The non-negotiables
