Job summary

RANDOLPH HILL NURSING HOMES GROUP is seeking a dedicated cleaning/housekeeping assistant to help maintain a clean, safe and odour-free environment in our nursing home. You will follow guidelines from the Manager/Nurse in charge and uphold residents’ privacy and rights.

You will wear a uniform, use correct protective clothing, report damages promptly and participate in training. The role requires consistent attendance and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a nursing home environment.
• Ability to operate cleaning materials and wear protective clothing as instructed.
• Commitment to resident privacy, dignity and choice.

Responsibilities

• Follow housekeeping instructions laid down by the company and by the Manager/Nurse in charge.
• Keep the nursing home clean, safe and free from odours.
• Report any damage to equipment or stock and follow safety procedures.
• Wear the company uniform and protective clothing on duty and attend requested training.
• Adhere to fire instructions, evacuation policies and all safety guidelines.
