Job summary

Greathed Manor Care Home is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our caring team in England. The role focuses on maintaining high cleanliness standards, infection control, and providing a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

We offer full-time or part-time options with flexible start/finish times and some weekend work. The successful candidate will take pride in their work and be supportive within the home team.

Qualifications

• Experience in standard housekeeping tasks preferred.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and infection control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning of residents' rooms, communal areas, bathrooms and other areas of the home.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home.
• Follow cleaning schedules and infection prevention and control procedures.
• Report any maintenance, health and safety or infection control concerns to the appropriate person.
• Support with laundry duties where required.
• Work as part of the wider care home team to help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and colleagues.
