Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Community Manager to lead a team of nurses and carers in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. You will work with the General Manager and multidisciplinary team to promote dignity, independence and wellbeing for residents.

You will ensure accurate care plans, safe medication management and regulatory standards are consistently met, while mentoring colleagues and driving continuous improvement across the home.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with active revalidation.
• Minimum two years' experience as a registered nurse in clinical or social care.
• Strong clinical knowledge and regulatory understanding.
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of clinical care within the community.
• Ensure care plans are accurate, up-to-date and person-centred.
• Mentor and develop the care team, promoting best practice.
• Lead improvements to patient outcomes and regulatory compliance.
