Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Community Manager in Andover to lead a team of nurses and carers, delivering person‑centred care and maintaining high clinical standards. You’ll work closely with the General Manager and Deputy Manager to drive excellence and safety.

With current NMC registration and at least two years as a Registered Nurse, you will supervise care plans, medication safety, mentoring, and continuous improvement across the home.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration and revalidation
• At least two years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
• Strong clinical knowledge and regulatory understanding
• Experience leading, mentoring and developing colleagues
• Excellent communication and decision‑making skills
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, person‑centred care

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of clinical care within the community and ensure care plans are accurate and up to date
• Manage medication safety and regulatory standards across the home
• Mentor, develop and support nursing and care teams
• Lead continuous improvement and promote best practice across the home
