Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Nursing Care Manager for Eastbourne Gardens Care Home in Eastbourne to deliver high-quality nursing care and directly manage Registered General Nurses. You will coordinate assessments, develop person-centred care plans, and lead the nursing team with regular supervision, appraisals, and effective communication with staff.

Qualifications

• Hold a Registered Nurse qualification.
• Have 2–3 years post-qualification experience in elderly care or a relevant field.
• Possess management experience and a comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to influence others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resident assessment process and ensure care plans are person-centred.
• Communicate resident information to staff using appropriate channels for care delivery.
• Oversee Nursing Team with regular meetings, agendas, attendance, actions and minutes.
• Support and develop team through regular supervision, appraisals and performance plans.
