Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Care Manager for Ascot Grange Care Home in Sunninghill. You will provide visible leadership on the unit, overseeing standards of care, staffing, documentation and resident experience, in line with policies and regulatory standards.

The role is non-clinical but accountable for care quality, safeguarding, compliance and team performance. You will lead care planning, monitor risk, support staff development and be a key contact for residents and families.

Responsibilities

  • Lead person-centred care planning, including implementation, monitoring and monthly evaluation.
  • Monitor residents' wellbeing and ensure care plans are updated accordingly.
  • Act as safeguarding lead within the residential care setting and escalate concerns appropriately.
  • Serve as a primary contact for residents, families and professionals, addressing requests and concerns.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You willprovide visible leadershipon the unit,overseeing standards of care delivery, staffing,documentation and resident experience. Working closely with the General Manager and Deputy Manager, you will ensure that care is delivered in line with company policies, regulatory standards and best practice.

Although non-clinical, the Care Manager is accountable for care quality, safeguarding, compliance and team performance within the unit. You will lead care planning processes, monitor risk, support staff development and act as a key point of contact for residents, families and professionals.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the person-centred care planning process, including implementation, monitoring and monthly evaluation.
  • Monitor residents’ wellbeing, recognising changes that impact care and ensuring care plans are updated accordingly.
  • Act as a key lead for safeguarding within residential care, ensuring concerns are identified, escalated and managed appropriately
  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, relatives and visitors, responding to reasonable requests and escalating concerns appropriately.
