Job summary

Ashford and St. Peters Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Chertsey is recruiting a Band 4 Nursing Associate to join Cherry Ward in the Medical Division. You will work under indirect supervision within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care across medical pathways.

The role requires NMC registration as a Nursing Associate with a Foundation Degree and a commitment to development within the NHS environment. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register with Foundation Degree.
• Evidence of further training.
• Experience in NHS acute hospital settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up-to-date records of clinical care and patient condition per NMC standards.
• Follow patient pathways and escalation procedures; support safe care delivery.
• Assist with documentation, clinical observations, and basic life support if needed.
• Support discharge planning and handovers; supervise junior staff when required.
• Participate in quality and risk management initiatives and audits.
