Lepton & Kirkheaton surgeries is seeking a qualified Nursing Associate to join our friendly general practice. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering patient-centred care for our local community, with access to ongoing training and professional support.

This part-time role (24 hours per week) offers flexible working patterns and starts at 08:00 to support early clinics. You will work with registered nurses and GPs, handling a range of clinical and admin tasks while developing

Qualifications

• Qualified Nursing Associate with NMC registration.
• Demonstrates ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to flex hours to meet service needs.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care under supervision.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and patient records.
• Take health measurements and basic observations.
• Support with chronic disease monitoring and wellbeing checks.
• Assist with ECGs and venipuncture after training.
• Provide patient education and signpost to appropriate services.
• Stock management and infection control within the practice.
• Support administration needs of the nursing team.
