Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Nursing Associate (NHS AfC Band 4) to work across ambulatory clinic services in the Fylde coast region. The post is full time (37.5 hours) and requires a valid Driver as essential for visiting clinics.

You will provide safe and individualized care, support family/carer involvement, and assist in planning, implementing and evaluating care plans in collaboration with the wider team.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with L1 registration and current NMC registration required.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and learning is expected.
• Nursing Associate role based on NHS Band 4 standards and competencies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a commissioned service to clinic patients as per service specification.
• Provide holistic, person-centred nursing care.
• Engage with patients, families and carers to inform care planning and choices.
