Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Lancashire is inviting applicants for Healthcare Assistant vacancies within the ambulatory clinic service of the community nursing workstream. Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, driver essential and own car preferred.

You will provide safe, patient-centred care in clinic settings and support families and carers. You'll deliver planned care, administer medications, and contribute to care planning, escalation where needed, and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse level 1 with current NMC registration.
• Experience in community/ambulatory nursing preferred.
• Must have access to a car and a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a commissioned nursing service in the ambulatory clinic.
• Provide holistic, person-centred nursing care.
• Engage with patients and carers in care planning.
• Safely administer medications per policy.
• Support other healthcare professionals and team.
• Monitor health needs and escalate when required.
• Respect dignity and diversity in all interactions.
