Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Nursing Associate to join the ambulatory clinic service within the community nursing workstream across the Fylde coast. The post is full time, 37.5 hours per week, and a driver is essential to travel between clinics.

You will provide safe, individualized care, support families, participate in care planning, and help deliver the commissioned services to clinic patients, with emphasis on dignity, respect and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic, person-centred nursing care.
• Engage with patients, families and carers and contribute to care planning.
• Respect individuals’ rights and help resolve conflicts.
• Work independently and with others to uphold patient rights and address refusals of care.
• Assist clinical teams to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate care.
• Administer medications safely in line with policies.
• Safeguard vulnerable adults and children.
• Demonstrate dignity and respect for all patients and staff.
