Job Opportunity: Nursing Assistant - Interventional Cardiology

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic nursing assistant to join the West of Scotland Regional Heart & Lung Cardiology nursing team at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, supporting the Interventional Cardiology service.

Role Overview:

• Support patient care within interventional cardiology and CCU wards, Cath Labs, and associated Day Wards.
• Work in a busy, demanding, yet rewarding environment, caring for patients undergoing coronary, structural heart, adult congenital, and electrophysiology procedures.

Candidate Requirements:

• Excellent teamwork experience with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive approach and the ability to work effectively within a busy team.
• Commitment to ongoing development and adaptability to the diverse demands of caring for patients within the Coronary Care Unit.

Working Conditions:

• Work 12-hour rotational shifts across the full week, including days and nights.
• Opportunities to work across various departments within the Cardiology Wards, Cath Labs, and Day Unit.
• Shifts will be rostered across 24/7 days and nights.
