Everyone who works here understands that our Residents are people with their own stories to tell. Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring our residents' care planning arrangements are delivered impeccably. We aim to offer residents a sense of choice and independence, and you will play a key role in this. Whether you're taking on delegated nursing tasks, reporting accidents, or supporting someone showing symptoms of dementia, resident wellbeing will always be your priority.

Senior Care Assistants considering their next career move, or looking to develop skills, knowledge, and increase earnings, will find this role ideal.

We have created a Trainee Nursing Assistant position with an outstanding development program designed to upskill and train Senior Care Assistants to take on more responsibilities and develop the skills needed to become a Nursing Assistant. Additionally, you will receive a salary increase upon completing the program.

Qualifications needed for the development program include:

  1. Level 3 Diploma S/NVQ in Adult Care (or working towards)
  2. Minimum 2 years' experience in Health & Social Care as a Senior Carer or similar leadership role, especially involving medication administration and shift leadership
  3. Knowledge of person-led care planning and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to act. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional related training. You should be able to seek advice and escalate concerns when necessary.

We provide full training, making this a great opportunity to learn new skills. In return, you will enjoy a wide range of benefits supporting your physical and psychological wellbeing, including:

  • Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
  • Free uniform
  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
  • Homemade meal during shifts

  • Confidential Employee Assistance Programme for support on various issues
  • Recognition schemes like 'Kindness in Care' and Long Service Awards
  • Referral scheme offering up to £1000 per successful hire

We strive for a quick onboarding process from offer to start date.
