Job Title: Nursing Assistant - Interventional Cardiology

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic nursing assistant to join the West of Scotland Regional Heart & Lung Cardiology nursing team at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital, supporting the Interventional Cardiology service.

About the Role

The nursing team provides patient care within interventional cardiology and CCU wards, alongside Cath Labs and associated Day Wards. The environment is busy, demanding, and rewarding, involving care for patients undergoing coronary, structural heart, adult congenital, and electrophysiology procedures.

Requirements

• Excellent teamwork experience with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a busy team.
• Commitment to ongoing development and adaptability to the diverse demands of caring for patients in the Coronary Care Unit.

Shift Details

The successful candidates will work 12-hour rotational shifts across the full week, including days and nights, across a 24/7 roster. Opportunities exist to work across various departments within the Cardiology Wards, Cath Labs, and Day Unit.
