Nursery Nurse
Tunbridge Wells Fitness and Wellbeing Gym | Permanent | Full Time

£26,402.38 per annum
40 hours per week

Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking an Early Years Educator to be based at our nursery located within our Nuffield Health gym.

As an Early Years Educator, you will be part of a team offering full-day care, sessional care, and a Pre-School for children aged from 3 months to 5 years.

Joining us as an Early Years Educator, you’ll provide care and education while promoting health and helping children achieve the best start in life. We are Ofsted registered and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage. We also offer a unique range of wellbeing-focused care for children, including swimming lessons for children over 3, making this a truly unique opportunity.

If you find satisfaction in a job well done, joining us as an Early Years Educator will give you the chance to learn and grow by working with some of the best. You should be qualified to at least Level 3 in childcare studies and have experience equivalent to NVQ Level 3 or NNEB. Your passion for teaching and making a difference will fit right in with our team.

Responsibilities of an Early Years Educator:

1. Provide high-quality care and education while promoting health and wellbeing.

2. Help children achieve the best possible start in life.

3. Support nursery educators in implementing the EYFS curriculum.

4. Ensure learning is linked to the child’s development.

5. Plan age-appropriate activities.

6. Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other external professionals.

Our Ideal Early Years Educator:

1. Will be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in childcare studies or equivalent.

2. Have experience working in a nursery setting.

3. Possess paediatric first aid qualifications (preferred).

4. Will require an enhanced DBS check.
