Job summary

Rosedene Nurseries Northallerton is offering an Early Years Apprentice role to join our established team. Most of your apprenticeship is learning on the job, with the support of our Apprenticeship Training provider to help you through your qualifications.

Apprenticeships are typically completed within 18 months. You will gain on-site experience, work with our qualified team, and undertake a childcare qualification while developing practical skills in caring for children aged in our nursery.

• Interest in childcare and eagerness to gain a childcare qualification.
• Willingness to learn on the job with support from training providers.
• Commitment to high standards of care and development in EYFS.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards in all aspects of care and development in line with EYFS for all children.
• Organise resources for activities and experiences in the nursery.
• Assist in enhancing the developmental progress of children.
• Implement the daily routine within the nursery.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Follow nursery policies and procedures.

What you'll do at work

• To ensure high standards in all aspects of care and development in line with the EYFS for all children attending the nursery
• To organise resources for activities and experiences in the nursery
• To assist in enhancing the developmental progress of children.
• To implement the daily routine within the nursery
• To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and good housekeeping
• To maintain a thorough knowledge of all the nursery’s policies and procedures, ensuring that they are followed and respected
