Job summary

Oakmeadow CE Primary and Nursery School is seeking a caring Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team in Shrewsbury. You will support children aged 3 to 5 years, helping to create engaging learning experiences that promote curiosity, independence and a love of learning.

We value enthusiastic, reliable team players who understand the EYFS framework and can deliver small group and one-to-one interventions, fostering excellent communication and collaboration with colleagues

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification suitable for EYFS staff:child ratios.
• Has experience working with children aged 3 to 5 years.
• Understands the EYFS framework and child development.
• Can support learning through play and deliver small group and one-to-one interventions.
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to ensuring the best outcomes for all children.

Nursery Teaching Assistant Level 3

We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive Early Years team.

As part of our Nursery team, you will support children aged 3 to 5 years, helping to create engaging learning experiences that promote curiosity, independence and a love of learning.

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification suitable for EYFS staff:child ratios.
• Has experience working with children aged 3 to 5 years.
• Understands the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and child development.
• Can support learning through play and deliver small group and one-to-one interventions.
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to ensuring the best outcomes for all children.

What we offer:

• NJC Grade 6 SCP 7-11 (£13.26-£14.14 per hour, pay award pending).
• 27.5 hours per week, term time only.
• Fixed-term contract until 23rd July 2027 in the first instance.
