Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries is seeking an experienced Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms at West End nursery within our UK network. You will lead the team, plan age-appropriate activities, and ensure the Bee Curious curriculum is integrated across the centre.

You will inspire colleagues to deliver high standards of care and learning, monitor child progress, and act as Key Person while maintaining health and safety and strong relationships with families and external partners.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 qualification in Early Years.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee development and wellbeing of children, tracking progress and communicating with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person for a group of children and ensure holistic development.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and the environment is clean and secure.
