Job summary

Busy Bees Day Nursery and Preschool in Bedford is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, lead a team, and ensure the Bee Curious curriculum is delivered with high standards of care and learning.

You will act as Key Person for a group of children, monitor progress, and collaborate with families to support each child's development while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee development and wellbeing of children, tracking progress and communicating with parents.

• Ensure health and safety standards are met and maintain a clean, secure environment.
