Zusammenfassung

Dovetail & Slate Ltd is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to join our education team in East of England. You will take day-to-day responsibility for your room, lead a small team of practitioners and ensure routines, care and learning support every child.

You will plan and deliver activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, observe development, and build strong relationships with parents and carers. Previous room-leading experience is desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with children, families and colleagues.

Aufgaben

• Leading the day-to-day running of the room and the practitioners working in it.
• Planning and delivering activities that meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Observing, assessing and recording children’s progress and planning next steps.
• Acting as key person for a group of children and working in partnership with their parents and carers.
• Maintaining a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment that meets children’s care and welfare needs.
• Supporting and mentoring colleagues and students on placement within the room.
