Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a confident Nursery Lead (Room Leader) to take ownership of a room at LS11, Leeds, and support the wider nursery team in delivering high‑quality early years provision. You will lead day‑to‑day operations, plan and deliver EYFS‑aligned activities, coach practitioners, monitor children's development with accurate records, and build strong relationships with parents.

Qualifications

• Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification.
• Proven experience in a nursery setting (senior/practitioner level).
• Confidence leading a team and setting expectations.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and EYFS.
• Organised, proactive, and solution-focused.

Responsibilities

• Leading a room and supporting day-to-day operations
• Planning and delivering high-quality learning in line with EYFS
• Coaching and supporting practitioners in your team
