Job summary

Bright Horizons Hendon Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a Room Leader to lead and inspire a team in either the 2-3 year old room or younger toddler room at our Hendon site. The nursery serves up to 72 children from 3 months to 5 years, with a strong emphasis on safeguarding and EYFS excellence.

You will mentor staff, promote a safe learning environment, and build trusted partnerships with parents and professionals to support each child’s milestones.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader or similar.
• Strong EYFS knowledge and safeguarding understanding.
• Ability to build trust with colleagues and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education for children in your room.
• Promote child welfare, health and safety, and safeguarding across the setting.
