Job summary

Empowering Learning is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to run a dedicated room for children aged 0-5, ensuring high standards of care, learning and development in line with the EYFS.

You will lead a team of Early Years Practitioners, plan engaging activities, monitor progress, and build strong relationships with parents. The role emphasizes safeguarding, health and safety, and staff mentoring across multiple North East settings.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification (or above) in Early Years Education or Childcare.
• Previous experience working within a nursery setting.
• Experience leading a room or supervising a team is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's development.

The Role
